So I figured out sometime this year that I could use my macro lens with my camera. This makes for a nice little boost in macro zoom when used with my 18-55mm lens. I also bought a 50mm portrait lens that I am very happy with. The only problem is that it is manual f stop. I also ended up buying an external flash from Pentax. I'm pretty pleased with its results except that I can't use it as a slave flash without an external cable. Whatever. Right now I am on a 26 day stint doing a different picture every day that represents a letter of the alphabet. Today is B so be on the lookout (sorry bad pun) for my new picture.

yes as you can see I'm new to it...but I do love other people's amazing photography and wish mine was better. but then I think I'm too poor and too busy for anything too spectacular. =)

great work Chris, what camera did you get? I got a Rebel XTi with the 18-55 and a reverse mount. I need to get some of my stuff up so you can see it, yours is better though! - Jeff
